Any info Nikoniko tea set labeled EW Japan please?

I have a complete tea set purchased at an estate auction. It is handpainted with brown paint. It has a scene of bamboo and some japanese buildings trimmed in gold paint. I can't find any information in this company at all. Does anyone know anything about them? I am guessing this set is 1940's or even before the war. Thanks.
