Anybody want to know about Wu Yi Source Diet Tea?

SCAM TRANSACTION! The tea itself is not a bad thing–but it certainly is nothing but the crushed remnants of the real fine tea, which you can get for the same or less money — but it’s the transaction which is a SCAM, hitting your credit card with recurring monthly fees of $9.95 & $4.95, and no way to get to the actual company who’s charging. I canceled my WU YI SOURCE “membership” within the first 2 weeks (though I did NOT get my money back — I figured, no big deal, (see below) as I ordered the tea, I’ll just pay for it–plus why spend the $$ to mail it back?) Now today I find out that two separate “companies” (supposedly) have now been placing charges on my credit card MONTHLY — $9.95, and $4.95 for some ridiculous “diet plan membership”. During the cancellation process, I asked repeatedly for some type of confirmation number, and the operator(s) (yes 2 of them–one via internet chat; one via telephone) kept saying that they do not offer “confirmations”. I asked repeatedly, “Is there anything else I need to do to ensure that EVERYTHING is canceled?” and they kept telling me “NO”. Now today, I’m given 2 separate phone numbers I’m told I need to call in order to get the charges reversed, because these companies are not WU YI SOURCE. BUT OF COURSE, this scam company, (supposedly DBA “Comprehensive Weight Loss”) tells me they cannot refund previous charges; will NOT reveal their company address, location or contact information, and tell me I should hang up, and call THE SAME NUMBER back, so that someone else can answer the phone–and THEY would be able to give me the information. — I tell them that’s ridiculous, threaten them (and Wu Yi Source) with legal action, and they finally agree to remove 1 month of charges…. (Not good enough…) Then they finally they agree to reverse the 2 months of charges, (yeah, we’ll see) but I’m still paying an original $9.95 and $4.95 (which I was led to believe would be automatically NOT CHARGED TO BEGIN WITH, due to the fact that I canceled the initial transaction within 2 weeks. (By the way, WU YI SOURCE told me that if I DID want my money back on the tea, they must have RECEIVED the tea, back in their warehouse WITHIN THE FIRST the 2 weeks from the date it was shipped.) How plausible is that?? By the way, the tea might have helped with a pound or two, (combined with a starvation diet) — but that’s about it.

SAVE YOUR MONEY… GO ONLINE… Find a REAL source for the FINE Chinese tea (there’s a great one out there), and you’ll be much better off.

Oh, believe me, I’m going through the exact same crap with those people. The bank account that I charged the tea on, I don’t usually use anymore and they have caused it to bounce and the bank said that they are the ones responsible for the overdraft fees on my account. When I called them back about it, they laughed at me and hung up. There is something really fishy about this company and the government should really take a look into them because they are scamming people left and right!!

I cancelled my wu-yi tea last month, b/c I received 3 month supply but stopped drinking it b/c I thought I was pregnant. I have not gotten a charge on my card yet, Im still waiting for the month to clear to see if they try to. when I called they did give me a cancellation number, so they must have gotten into trouble. I reccommend canceling your bank card if you do decide to cancel. Yeah that membership for that website, I cancelled a week after I ordered the tea. When you buy the tea you automatically sign up for that other membership, so be careful and pay attention and make sure you cancel it if you don\’t want it. As far as the results my first month supply I got good results, I lost 17 lbs in two weeks. You have to exercise at least 30 minutes a day at least 4 times a week unless it wont work. Since I have the other 3 month supply I recently started drinking it again, and will continue until im done and see how much I lose. If I do good, I will go to the healthfood store to buy oolong tea, if you look on the side of the box Ingredients- oolong tea. It\’s much cheaper there also.

similar problem here - however i did cancel within the 14-day period and was refunded. started to notice the $4.95 (WEB ACCESS LAS VEGAS) and $9.95 (MEMBERSHIP LAS VEGAS) charges for the past two months on my card. called my credit card company and they said it was charges from ‘iworksinc’ and after some investigation on their part, they provided the two numbers to call directly and cancel. remember to ask for write down the name of the employee and their employee/login numbers (they do not give out confirmation #’s). it may take a few minutes listening to their recordings and waiting for a CSR, but be patient - it’s worth the wait to cancel.
      $4.95 (WEB) 1-866-363-0187
      $9.95 (MEMBERSHIP) 1-800-989-5907

      good luck.
