Are the Stimulants in Coffee and Black Tea the same, and if so why can't they blend for a tasty drink?

Is it certain that caffiene is the stimulant in teas?

It is certain that caffiene is the stimulant.

I'm sure that you could blend them for a tasty drink if you were so inclined.

There is caffeine in both, and in sodas and colas too. Just having a similar chemical doesn't mean the tastes will blend appealingly.

Caffeine is the stimulant that you are thinking of, and as far as I know caffeine is caffeine. But there are thousands of other isotopes and what not in them naturally that will have a profound effect in blending them. Coffee is a much stronger or at least prepared a lot stronger than tea, which seems much more fragile. You are not tasting the caffiene but the other componets that create these two wonderful drinks.

it is not about stimulants, they have different stimulants by the way
I think those drinks are both bitter in a different way, it would have been too much bitterness if you blend them

As for blends, I blend sometimes hot chocolate and green tea, it tastes so good

If you want tea you should drink tea. Coffee drink coffee. They have antioxidants but not the same. There are a lot of teas and they all do not have the same antioxidants. The Rooibos teas have more antioxidants than green tea. There is not a lot of info except to say that black is has antioxidants and is a full body tea.

The caffeine in tea is different then coffee. It is not as hard on the system. The caffeine in tea does not bother most people.

There is even caffeine in green tea
The only tea that does not have caffine in it are the herbal ones they do not contain any "tea" they are made from different spices and herbs and flowers or roots

I guess you could mix them but I do not know why
