Has anyone drank this tea and it put them into active labor? I have read that it gives you contractions. I have not yet tried it. I was curious to see if anyone else has tried and it helped at all? Also if it did work how long did it take you to actually start having contractions?

Well i myself havent had to induce labor. Honestly the best thing to do is wait to go into it naturally. If you are more than a week over due then see your doctor for an induction. That way the baby can be monitored during the process. Good Luck to you and have a safe and fast delivery!

not really recommended for pregnant women; it's more useful for the menopause, to help with hot flushes.

I have tried black cohosh to go into labor and have had some success. I used it in conjunction with castor oil. Try getting the book Spiritual Midwifery by Ina May Gaskin. That is where I got my best ideas for pregnancy and birth. By the way, it was a matter of hours for me to go into labor taking castor oil.
