I love drinking black tea in the afternoons, but lately it makes my head feel like it's going to explode, and I have a paulseating in my ears..I switched to decaff, and it still does it. Why? does anyone know, my Doctor doesn't. In the mean time I am tealess in the afternoon and am going crazy! Thank you for any suggestions.

maybe the black tea isn't your tea try differnt teas! green or a white tea…
the closest thing i have to what you have was just drinking to much and getting headaches!
but keep a log of what you put into your body and how you feel!
daily!
but go back to the basics or make it a lighter tea and don't brew so long!

try green tea. it is healthier than black tea anyway. maybe there is something in black tea that does not agree with you. if you have the same problem with decaff, so probably is not the coffein or the tein that you react so strange to. which is quite awkward because the symptoms that you describe sound like high bloodpressure and coffein and co. do exactly that - raise the bloodpressure.
maybe it is not the tea that is the reason for these problems in the afternoon.
if i were you i would go for a health check - heart, ears, maybe CT or even better MRT of the head and brain. such severe headaches that you describe - pressure like it's going to explode and pulse pounding in your ears - are nothing that one should take easy!
