can herbal tea and/or black tea protect you from viruses?

will it strengthen your immune system? which ones will/wont? and what will it protect you from? thnx:)

    not just tea, but lots of veggies and fruits and nuts. I certainly wouldn’t rely on tea, but it is full of antioxidants and EGCG. great supplement to an already healthy diet.

    Licorice is used in Japan to ward off virus, and in middle eastern countries they put it in tea.
    Ginseng is also good, but check with your doc’ or pharm, if you are taking Rx before taking Ginsing.
    I agree with the first answer, too!
    Take vitamin C, too!!!!!

    Some ingredients in tea, like echinacea, help boost your immune system, but won’t necessarily protect from viruses.
