Soooo apparently there is salt and a bunch of random junk is Dasani water. Is it still safe to drink when pregnant? I know too much salt is not good, but that there isnt tons in the water… but still. Just wondering. ALSO, this girl I know tried to say that there is not cafiene in Star Bucks Green Tea Cream drink thing. I tried to tell her that it naturally has it in Green tea, but she insisted it didnt. I think she just said this because she's pregnant and wanted green tea! Haha anyways, if you know a lot about Sbux drinks, please let me know :o) Because Im pretty sure shes just dumb!
FYI… starbux drinks dont come with ingredients on the cup.. thanx tho

Well an easy way to prove one of you wrong.
look on the ingredients list on the stupid drink.
it'll say Caffeine if there is some, and won't say it if there isn't any.

Yes in less stated caffeine free all tea has caffeine especially Green Tea because that is supposed to give you energy. You friend is just trying to lie to herself.
Even the caffeine free coffees have a tiny bit of caffeine in it. The law allows you to put caffeine free on things as long as they are below a certain percentage…. Crazy huh?

Green tea is a natural antioxidant…but if it has caffiene in it its not enough to harm your fetus…in fact doctors say 2 caffinated drinks a day is absolutly okay! I dont drink the water bottles with stuff all in them…the only ingrediant I want in my water is…WATER I drink ozarka…thats good water.

Doctor told me Dasani is fine, I've been drinking it since i got pregnant as for it's hard for me to drink any kind of water other than that, and as for the starbucks green tea thing.there is 75 mg per 16 oz of the green tea cream drink. (link below) and also studies show that The less caffeine you consume, the better. Some experts say more than 150 mg of caffeine a day is too much, while others say more than 300 mg a day is too much. Avoiding caffeine as much as possible is your safest course of action. If you must get your fix, it is best to discuss this with your health care provider to make the healthiest choice for you and your baby.

If you're talking about the Iced Tazo Green Tea Latte, it definitely has caffeine in it (http://www.starbucks.com/retail/nutrition_beverage_detail.asp?selProducts=%7B9D94CED2-F3C6-4A42-8C71-74B5D85B2B75%7D&x=21&y=9&strAction=GETDEFAULT) and it's about as much as a cup of coffee.
As far as the Dasani goes, you are allowed 2400 mg of sodium a day unless you have high blood pressure/pre-eclampsia. The regular Dasani water has .5mg of sodium per 20 oz bottle, and even the highest sodium Dasani flavored water has only 7mg of sodium per 20 ounce bottle, so don't worry about it. You'll get more sodium from a banana than a bottle of water.
