Dilute Green Tea to Lose weight?

Do I have to dellute the green tea to get the benifits of a metabolism boost or can I just take it out of the bag and swallow it?

      I think you have to steep it - pour boiling water over it, let it sit a few minutes, and then drink the liquid.
