Just wait it out. You never know what the side effects could be. Besides most of those pills and oils end up giving you severe diarehea(sp).
Try having sex, walking and warm baths

hope it helps you here is some info I found very helpful check out this sight for more tips http://www.moondragon.org/obgyn/pregnancy/laborinitiate.html
I think the black cohosh helps more with the ripen of the cervix and the blue cohsh to start labor
Black Cohosh Tincture:
Take 10 drops of tincure under the tongue hourly. This will have noticeable effect on the cervix in three or four hours. Continue until the cervix is fully soft and ripe
Blue Cohosh Tincture:
3-8 drops in a glass of warm water or tea (red raspberry tea is good for a labor tea), is a very effective way in starting labor. Repeat every half hour for several hours until contractions are regular. If labor is not underway in four hours, sue a dropperful of the tincture under the tongue every hour for up to four hours or until contractions are strong and consistant.
good luck they have more tips on their sight and they are from mid wives
