I recently bought some powdered green tea, after brewing and drinking a cup about half an hour later I felt light headed & faint, basically I felt like I was going to have a heart attack my heart was beating so fast…it was even worse than drinking a few red bulls…I mean I am relatively young so..I was thinking either I used to much per cup(half a teaspoon) or that green tea has higher caffeine levels than regular tea?

Green tea is usually made from mostly herbal ingredients. Either your lightheadedness was purely psychological or you bought some tainted stuff.

No.
Green tea has 30mg of caffeine per serving.
Regular tea (black/red) has 50 mg per serving.
Red Puke has 80mg per serving.
It is possible that something about that particular tea you got did that to you but it definitely was not the caffeine. Unless for some stupid reason they added a bunch of caffeine to their mix.
