Does green tea really boost your metabolism? How? and how would you even notice if it did?

I love to drink it..but sometimes I’m just not sure if it really is working?

      a little. not enough to cause a significant change. but it is a diuretic, so it will make you pee out excess water and tea is known to suppress appetite. so lots of people think it helps you lose weight.

      It depends. What kind are you drinking and are you brewing it yourself or getting it from a bottle.

      If you get it from the bottle is is likely to contain WAY too much sugar. That’s why I always brew my own and add as little sugar as possible.

      Yes, it does speed it up. No, you don’t really notice except over the long run when you realize you get hungry faster… lol.

      yes it does speed it up, which can be good as it burns body fat quicker, combinig this with exercise (sit ups, power walking, swimming) prefably before breakfast would give best results. As gentle exercising before breakfast is another thing that can speed up metabolism.
      Green tea is siad to reduce your risk of certain cancers, however it also causing insomnia and is a dieuretic, so you will be up all night needing the loo!
