I'm talking about the lipton green tea. I heard it speeds up your metabolism. Is that true?

Green tea does speed up your metabolism a little. BUT it need to be the real green tea that you brew yourself to get the benefits. There are MANY other health benefits of green tea, so you can look those up.
The crap that you buy bottled is so processed and loaded with sugar it isn't going to have much of a benefit at all.

Hey! I have also heard that green tea has this property and i'm fairly sure that it is true. But to be 100% sure you would have to find out this information from a reliable source, such as a website that offers information that is accurate, a nutritionalist (just give someone a ring and see if they can offer you any help). Good luck!!!

It's funny you should ask that. I am experimenting with that in my own diet this week. I am having at least one serving of diet green tea with every meal for seven days straight. I am already trying to lose weight, and I want to see drinking the tea speeds up the process.
I will email you when the week is over and let you know what happened.
