Yes, but if I use whitening stips and brush my teeth it doesn't show.

I don't think so, it sure is a lot lighter than black tea.

No. The coloration and strength of the tea leaves are the determining factor when it comes to any discoloration.
The stronger the tea, the more chance of staining. However, this is over time.

Green tea does slightly stain teeth, but not as much as black tea.
This happens gradually over time though, so brushing your teeth or just rinsing your mouth after you drink a cup should be fine.
The basic rule is, the darker (or stronger) the tea, the more it will stain your teeth.
Hope that helps!

Yes. I have seen even cups stained from green tea, after several uses of course. I would be careful when eating or drinking pigmented foods or liquids, as they have a high probability of staining your teeth over time.
This is a pretty decent article on staining teeth and tips on keeping a bright smile:

I'd also add to that list:
*drinking teas, coffee, etc. occassionally with a straw (after the beverage cools a bit)
*drinking colder beverages, such as sodas, juices etc. with a straw - this will at least help somewhat maintain your front teeth as the teeth in the back will probably receive the stains
* if your teeth becomes stained noticably, using those Crest whitestrips. I've used them and they work great. During use, they leave your teeth feeling a bit sensitive. However, this is normal and the sensitivity will soon go away. I've even confirmed with a dentist that these strips are safe to use and will not harm your teeth.
