Yeah, while you're not inhaling tar, you're still inhaling smoke which just isn't good for you.

Tea? No. But I'm sure it would feel uncomfortable. Cigarettes and other drugs are the ones that will affect your health and turn your lungs into garbage because they have lots of chemiacals in them. But…I'm not sure if I'm talking about the right thing.

umm why smoke tea lol ?
      thats different lol

well i suppose smoking anything will make your lungs black
your lungs only go black because capilaries are blocked by smoke & they die
meaning parts of your lungs are dying & are filled with smoke therefore go black
so smoking anything at all makes your lungs black really

      good luck :D xxx

Any smoke can harm your lungs. some more than others.
It is because of the combustion.
Tea Smoking is not a common practice. Unless you are smoking tea leaves into food for flavor. Because it is uncommon there have no been many noted studies on whether its more unhealthy than cigarettes. However since tea smoking never really caught on I am assuming that smoking tea is not as smooth as smoking cigarettes.
Cigarettes definately make your lungs black.
Tea leaves… probably so. but I can find no studies to back that up since people don't regularly smoke it.

If you cough up tan colored phlem, it truly could turn your lungs darker. However, if it's green tea Hmmmm?. Really the only thing that comes to mind that would turn them "black" would be coal dust.

This just in… there is a brand new way for your body to absorb tea. Soak it in hot water then drink it. Wow, what a concept!!!
