      Tea does, coffee no!
      good luck
      coffee has caffine and dehydrates..
Tea does not dehydrate and counts as liquid, water
      JUICE counts as water too!

Intake, Yes. Benefit, No. Plain water still the best of all.

Yes, the latest thinking about this is that drink when you are thirsty and you need not drink water, but can drink tea, coffee, fruit juice etc., but most of them contain calories, so you need to account for that in your daily count.

Tea ( black tea) and coffee officially do not fall under your daily intake of water as they contain caffeine. And caffeine withdraws water from your body. Green tea (black tea is basically burnt green trea) also has caffeine, by the way!

For more info on the amount of caffeine in various drinks: http://wilstar.com/caffeine.htm

Herbal tea on the other hand, is fine. Als be care ful with drinks that contain a lot of sodium ( for instance ice cream based), as sodium also withdraws water from your body. Alcohol does the same.

The best thing is to, before breakfast, to drink 2 glasses of water. Repeat the same before lunch and dinner. Advantage: For those who want to lose weight - water fills you up, with result you eat less.

The rest - 2 glasses - you get from other liquids such as milk, juice and herbal teas.

No it they don't. The average daily intake of water for an adult human being is 2 litres, 8 pints PLUS tea, coffee etc.

well seeing as how they are approximately 99 percent water, I would have thought so.

Water is a diuretic though, so you should drink even MORE water to compensate for the amount of water you are drinking…

Herbal tea counts but tea and coffee does not.

Not tea or coffee, they contain caffeine which is a diuretic, but herbal teas can help, check and see what's in them first.

tea does however it doesn't have the same effect on your body as plain water, so better off drinking your water!
