does Wu-Yi tea or other chinese tea's work to lose weight??

I from UK, Amersham on the hill

i have been trying to find out others thing that help lose weight. i still go to sliming club every weeks on weds. i need more help to lose more weight.

I weight 20 stone and my height is 5 ' 7 and i am 21 year old, i relly badly want to lose 8 or 9 stone as i miss being slim as i was at age of 12.

I am never happy the way i am and i am depress. I hoping to know about this Wu-Yi tea or other chinese tea's that can help me even i still go to sliming club.

If there any good news and any hopes for me to lose 8 or 9 stone let me know please.

      Hm, I am Australian so don't understand 'stone', but if you want to lose weight you should try and boost your metabolism, which is generally what herbal tea does, though I have not heard of Wu-Yi tea.
      10 ways to boost your metabolism are:
      1. Eat a healthy mid-afternoon snack to stop yourself binging on food in the evening, which is the danger time when the stomach overrides the mind.
      2. Make sure you eat a healthy breakfast to keep your blood sugar levels balanced. Without breakfast, the blood sugar drops and the metabolism slows. Try eating muesli.
      3. Being depressed or stressed about your body or anything else contributes to abdominal and slow metabolism. A gentle walk can relieve stress. Also, since you do get depressed about your body, I would suggest starting meditation or yoga to calm yourself down. Do a little in your lunch break - I've tried myself and the difference is astounding.
      4. Building muscle equals less fat. You already go to slimming club once a week, but, if you don't already, try doing a bit of muscle building every day at home or during your lunchbreak.
      5. Quick bursts of energy boosts your metabolism. Add a 30 second power walk to your morning walk every 5 minutes. The key to boosting metabolism is to vary the activity, change the intensity, perform it frequently and, most important in my book, HAVE FUN!
      6. Snacking sounds unhealthy, doesn't it? Right? Wrong. Eating six small meals a day instead of the regular three keeps your metabolism running smoothly. But only if you are careful with what you snack on. Don't have a chocolate bar and ice cream followed by a burger, snack on fruit and nuts, but remember that a once-in-a-while treat is OK. Try cutting out all chocolate except dark. It is so rich that it will prevent you binging all by itself!
      7. Green tea helps you slim down. People who drink 3 cups a day increase their metabolic rate by about 4%, or 80 extra calories a day.
      8. You may have an underactive thyroid gland. This can become underactive through constant stress, hormonal inbalance, auto-immunity and inadequate nutrition. Since you get depressed over your weight, I would highly reccomend seeing your doctor for a thyroid check.
      9. Sleep deprivation can completely mess up your metabolism. Make sure you are getting a good amont of sleep every night by exercising early, eating a light dinner and not stimulating yourself for two hours before bed.
      10. People with a diet high in omega-3 essential fatty acids have a higher metabolism. Don't let the "fatty" turn you off; these help you lose more weight than you gain. Eat deep sea fish such as tuna or sardines.

      Just a note: you will not get as slim as you were at age 12. It would be dangerously unhealthy if you did. The body naturally widens at about age 13-15, depending on the person. If that is really your weigh loss goal, you should stop NOW. It is detrimental to your health, and besides, guys prefer curvy women rather than bean poles.
      Maybe you should also see a nutritionist or dietician. They can help you balance your diet for you.
      Also, you may just have a naturally slow metabolism. I do; I am also overweight, but I don't worry about it! I see people on the street who are overweight and I don't think, God, that person is disgusting, I just think that's a person. And I know they don't think of me as disgusting either. Usually the only person I think of as being disgustingly overweight is myself. Just stop thinking like that and you'll be on your way to a happier, thinner you.
