I just started drinking Green Tea, basically because I'm cutting out pop and I've read about the health benefits of Green Tea.
I was just wondering though;
What is a safe ammount of green tea to drink every day?
If I put honey or a little bit of lemon juice in my green tea, will it reduce the benefits of green tea?

Hi,
Congratulations on cutting down on the soda pop! Great decision to improve your health
Try increasing your filtered water intake too, water is the second most important nutrient that your body needs to work, after oxygen!
Here's a great article on the health benefit of water:

Green tea doesn't have any side effects that I've ever heard of. The only thing I would make sure of is that you eat regular little snacks or regular meals because there is an ingredient in green tea that boosts your metabolism.
If you don't eat, you might experience low blood sugar. I know this from experience - both my husband and I drink green tea when we need to bring our blood sugar levels down.
Honey and lemon both have their own health benefits so feel free to add them to your tea!
Cheers,
BB

Green Tea is great for you in moderate doses.
Exceeding 5 cups a day could cause health complications.
I really like green tea and drink it almost daily. I think is has so
many health benefits. Putting lemon juice in it is good as it increases the effectiveness of the tea and honey is good too
