I created a list of healthy stuff I should do in 2008 and last on the list was green tea, I put it last on the list because I never heard anyone actually say they liked it, so a week ago I gave up coffee for green tea and got hooked, the taste was amazing (without sugar) and I managed to get so much energy and felt dream like refreshed, however im forgetting to sleep now and it weird, its like I dont get tired anymore and I just sleep for a max of 4 hours and thats usually because I wake up from the slightest noise.
I have heard green tea can give insomnia but when i use to drink 8 cups of coffee a day I could fall asleep and not I stay awake 20 hours a day resting for about 2 - 4 hours and feel great. I dont really want to reduce drinking it as i manage to get 50% more stuff done in a day, have alot of spare time than I did before and my teeth sparkle but I cant help wondering I may be damaging my body by not getting enough sleep.
I usually have between 4 - 10 cups a day

It has caffeine but not as much as coffee. Try not to drink it after 5pm and see if it helps or buy both caffeinated and decaf and drink the caffeine in the morning and switch to decaf around 3-4pm.

Four hours of light sleep does sound a little low. Green tea does contain a fair bit of caffeine so try cutting down on how much you drink in the late afternoon/evening. Drink your 4 - 10 cups before 3pm.
Now that you have the taste for herbal switch for a nice relaxing tea like chamomile, peppermint or valerian (or combine them). They are all very nice and taste great without sugar. Nutmeg in warm milk is also very effective.
