Green tea is very beneficial to your health, so I don't think it would be bad, unless of very excessive consumption

Green tea is very healthy and has antioxidants. The only thing bad if too much is consumed is caffeine. You can also purchase it decaffeinated and make it as iced tea at home. Look at the ingredients and you'll see that it's just tea. You can get flavored green tea such as peach green tea, mint green tea, etc. You may be thinking of the green teas that are made with ma huang and other stimulants for dieting. Stay away from those when choosing tea for your kids.
