I' am 10 weeks pregnant. i had been drinking a cup of green tea and a cup of wheat grass tea a day for the first 6 weeks of pregnancy. i heard that it's not advisable to drink green tea during the first trimester.it might cause birth defects or miscarriage. it's true???i had stop taking green tea, but will it harm my baby as i had took it previously? when can i confirm my baby is perfectly stable and fine?few more weeks to second trimester!!!can't wait!wish me LUCK!

No. The only thing "questionable" about green tea is the high levels of caffine. You've made it this far. I'm sure you and your baby are going to be fine.

Uh, if that were true then China would have a lot less people in it. Also I can speak from personal experience that I had a cup regularly when pregnant with both of my boys and they are nearly 6yrs old & 4 and were both perfectly healthy from birth.
