Hello everyone, I hope you can help me with this because it is really confusing me.I have been weightlifting for a long time in addition to practising martial arts. couple of days ago I started drinking Green tea before my workout but I noticed that when I lift weights I would feel less pump in my muscles ( Im refering to that usual great pump sore thing if you know what I mean :)! . Does Green Tea affect muscle growth negatively? although I do read some reports that its good for muscles that it can transfer glucose to it faster and even reduce lactic acid? so why Im not getting the pump feeling :-/ ??

Well it depends on what kind of Green Tea you have been drinking. However, the main cause of you not getting that "pump" feeling is because green tea has caffeine in it along with titanium dioxide, which are both known to give energy and decrease muscle tension. I hope this helps! Happy weight lifting!
