Green Tea is…?

I have heard that green tea helps you lose weight…
if so, how much weight? (i would like to lose 15-20lbs.)
can you mix it in water only? or can you try orange juice and other drinks?
what is the best type of tea to benefit your body and help you lose weight?

any other details would help me alot

      Green Tea is good but I heard that White Tea is one of the best. I drink about 3 cups a day because it's so delicious!

      I wouldn't rely completely on green tea to help you lose weight - sure it can be part of your new healthy living regime… but you only were to incorporate drinking green tea into your life without altering your diet and exercise, I would have to say, you won't lose a pound - you will only gain the healthful benefits of green tea (which are plentiful…)… Now if you change your diet - by omitting processed foods & sugars and incorporating lean proteins, fresh veggies & fruits & drinking lots of water and working out 30+ minutes a day - then the green tea may help you lose a bit quicker.

      it helps to increase metabolism when drank black.

      does it help to lose weight by just doing that.. absolutly not, just along with exercise and proper eating habits can help to lose weight faster and keep it off

      all forms of herbal and slimming tea are good…green tea is good…you can flavor them with any citrus fruit juice to make them more effective,but dont add any sugar…for losing weight,you still gotta workout 6 days a week and calorie shift your food intake as drinking the tea alone wont do you anything!

      On its own? No. I've heard it boosts metabolism, but not enough to help you loose 15-20 pounds any time soon.

      As a replacement for high cal drinks? Yup. When combined with a healthy diet and exercise, DEFINITELY.
