I gave up drinking coffee and not because I was told about its harmful effects. I actually felt it destroying my body in many different ways. But in order not to sleep-walk in the mornings and not to fall asleep when studying in the evenings I swapped it to green tea. I thought this was a healthy choice because green tea is packed with antioxidants which are essential and irreplaceable for our bodies. Later I even went for gunpowder and must admit - it’s the best cure from sleepiness! Students will appreciate that! But I recently learned that green tea actually contains even more caffeine than coffee!!
So my question is: Is green tea (particularly gunpowder) just as harmful or even more harmful than coffee?

no, as green tea is full or anti-oxidants it has a counter affect on the caffeine causing the caffeine in it to have no effect whatsoever on a human…

Coffee is harmful on account of its caffeine content.
… I'm not too sure about that Question Master. Chemicals usually don't work that way.

What the hell? You’re snorting gunpowder? What’s wrong with these kids today?

NO! It’s a myth that coffee stunts growth….many people think that the caffeine will stop growth but this is FALSE.
Think about this–chocolate is made from cocoa beans which is the main source of all caffeine and think about how much chocolate children/people eat and still grow into tall individuals.
Consider that kids have been drinking more and more caffeine-laced sodas for the past 30 years, and yet the average height keeps increasing.
It’s funny how people cringe at the idea of an 8-year-old drinking a cup of coffee, but think nothing of a toddler drinking Coca-Cola.
Green tea is actually one of the most healthy foods or drinks you can consume. It is packed full of cancer fighting antioxidants.

when you are told that tea has more caffeine than coffee it means the dry tea; when you brew the tea and coffee, more caffeine is released from the coffee bean than from the tea leaf, and i think more coffee is used to brew a cup of coffee than tea leaf is used to brew a cup of tea
