My mum says water is the best fluid you can drink (healthwise), but when you think about it, isn't green tea better for you? I mean, water is water, and water is essential and really good for you, but green tea bags contain all of those nutrients and antioxidants AND you add water to it, so isn't it like water with added nutrients and therefore it would be better for you?
Discuss. =)

Green tea has healthy properties and you should drink it in addition to water. Your body needs a lot of fluid to run properly, and it uses plain water the most efficiently. If you drank only tea and no other water, you might get enough hydration but you'd be at risk for kidney stones due to the tea's oxalic acid. You need pure water to flush your kidneys, and in fact your entire body.
