I recently started drinking green tea because I heard it helps speed up your matablism. I can only drink 2-3 cups a day because it makes me have to pee every 10 minutes! Would it help if I switched to the pills? or would I still be having to go to the bathroom all the time? Thanks

Keep drinking the green tea. Itis acting like a diuretic, (making you pee), to help speed up yout metabolism. The pills won't do anywhere as much good as drinking does.
Basically, it is flushing your body of the nasty toxins by making you pee all the time. YOu only need to drink 2-3 cups a day anyway.
Keep going, you'll get the results you want soon enough.
The reason we are told to drink 8-10 glasses of water a day is to both hydrate us, and to rev up your metabolism. It's basic physics. People who disagree and tell you otherwise need to learn about science and biology.

Normally u can drink green tea after sleep in morning. And before u sleep at night. Outside that time will disturb ur actvities.

Green tea does NOT speed up your metabolism, this is a myth. Also, don't listen to the above answer. Making you pee does NOT mean that your metabolism is faster. In fact, unless you have been drinking lots of extra water, the extra peeing will dehydrate you and make your health worse. Green tea is better for you than other teas, but it isn't a magical health elixir.

Green tea has been proven to speed up your metabolism. Drinking 2-4 cups cups a day should be good enough.
If the peeing is making life awkward, by all means go for the green tea supplement in pill form. You will get the dose of all the good antioxidants delivered, and if you don't consume a vast amount of water to down the pill, you won't pee as excessively as you would with the brewed tea.
Any tea or coffee, or fruit juice for that matter enters the system very fast, so that's why the kidneys produce so much urine.

No don't take the pills! The green tea is much safer and good too. You are on the right track. U know all the benefits already so why ask? the pills stress the liver.

Green tea has an anti-oxidant that can increase your metabolism by 4%.
Antioxidants in pill form do not work very well. The only anti-oxidants that work are Vitamin C and E.
Antioxidant in Green tea is EGCG. This antioxidant is also avaible in White-tea. White tea is sloghtly more expensive but it may suit you better. White-teas also has a higher concentration of the anti-oxidant and lower amount of caffiene in comparing gwith Green tea. Also, it tastes sweeter.
