tea has properties in it that help the body fight calories before they turn to fat, but it's not a significant amount of calories it fights, you wouldn't be able to sit on the couch watching tv and drinking tea all day and lose weight, but if you add the oolong(also called wu-long and wu-yi) to a good healthy diet, and active lifestyle it will help that much more, as far as taste, my all time fav. is the orange blossom, it's so good. hope this helps
