wu-yi is the area of origin of the tea. from the wu-yi area, there is guan yin and qi lan e.t.c. oolong tea is said to be high in anti-oxidant, and helps to refresh the mind and body, helps the digestive system to pass out the unhealthy fats. though drinking too much is bad, and drinking at night may keep one awake. for the weight slimming claim, it is not true. for weight slimming oolong tea, something else is added to it. personally, i prefer pu-er

I have tried the oolong tea for almost 4 months…initially I had minor weight loss…but after a week, there was no change in my weight at all. I feel like all the hype was just that and nothing more.
