So, I just bought some "herbal slimming tea" at Drug Mart the other day. I was just looking at the ingredients, and one is Senna…a laxative. So, does that mean that all the tea does is make you crap out everything you eat quicker so there isn't full absorption in the intestines? I like the taste of the Cranrasberry one, but all I've done for 2 days is crap my brains out. I finally realized it was the tea. Is this a ligitimate way to lose weight?
All the ingredients:
Senna leaves
Malve leaves
Licorice root
Panax ginseng root
Natural flavor

in can be dangerous because in the end your body will rely on it to crap basically!!.all it does is make you crap if its the senna, does it have anything else in it? some teas have apetite supresents or get rid of unwanted water , and some help with the metabolism an thyroid.if yours only contains senna then its more than likely just to regulate bowel movements which isnt advised for long term use. hope this helps!

No it works for a while, but then you get dependent on it and your weight normalizes eventually. Did I mention that it's unhealthy?

Those teas are basically just laxatives. Don't drink them.
