There are perfectly healthy people out there who've never had a sip of green tea in their entire lives.
There is no need to force yourself to drink green tea. In fact, blueberries, cranberries, and blackberries all have the same antioxidant benefits that green tea has, without all of the caffeine.

Your body is trying to tell you that it does not need or want green tea. A big part of being healthy is LISTENING to your body.

However, if you INSIST on going against your body's natural inclination, try some psychology. Prepare your favorite meal EVER, or get something from the bakery, and eat that with green tea. Whenever you drink green tea, eat something you regard as a treat. After about two weeks, your brain will associate green tea with the pleasantness of a treat.

Hot green tea is very good if you add Splenda. The bottled citrus green tea can be bought as regular or diet. It is better if you get it really cold, but I did have to aquire a taste for it.

      1. Try blending it with mint or lemon
      2. Perhaps you would prefer it iced
      3. Add a little honey to it

Good for you, green tea is really healthy :]

i like green tea but when i couldn't tolerate it i just added a teaspoon of honey.
for a girl it eases cramps, so it's important to get used to it.

make it sweetened with some honey to taste. then over a period of time like several weeks slowly reduce the amount of honey that you use until it is bearable to drink. the quality of the green tea also effects how it tastes and how you make it.

get a pyrex or other microwaveable safe container:

      4 cups of water
      5 green tea bags
heat on high for 8 minutes then remove from microwave and cover. let the tea steep for 1-5 minutes depending on how strong you like it. sweeten the tea while it's still warm

If you don't like it there other alternatives. However; most people I find that don't like it, don't really like tea period. If you are use to having sugar or sweetened drinks you'll never like it until those toxins are out of your system. Same goes for those who eat a lot of processed foods, they generally don't like the taste of tea unless it is loaded with sugar. If you load it with sugar you'll lose the effect of the tea. There are flavored green teas but not as good as the regular in heath benefits.

For one without added sugar or aspartame (some people experiance really negative side effects with aspartame) is Sobe Green Tea Lean. It actually tastes bettet than the one with sugar. And it is best very cold. Gold Peak also has a really good one, it has lots of sugar though. And Snapple has the one with the most EGCG. Try different flavors, and cold is definitely better than hot I think. All of these are available at Safeway.

I love putting honey (bonus - locally-made honey has actually been proven to have some immune system benefits) in green tea. Have you tried it cold? Green iced tea is super refreshing! Or chai made with green tea? It's amazing.
If you really can't find a way to like it, don't force yourself to drink something you don't want. Like swish said, there are plenty of other sources of what you're looking for, like lots of different kinds of yummy fruits.
