How is Green Tea good for you?

What does it do for your body and what kind of nutrients does it have? I just tasted Green Tea for the first time yesterday and it tasted prett good - I am drinking another cup today; its the decaffinatated kind, if that matters.

      It has antioxidants in it that can help prevent cancer and boost the imune system. It also has a substance called EGCG in it that boosts the metabolism and helps achieve and maintain a healthy weight. A lot of dieters try to drink a lot of green tea. I try to drink a lot too, its just generally good for you. So is white tea.

      i personaly do not like green tea because i can't stand the taste but its very good for you

      It speeds up the metabolism and helps you lose/maintain your weight. I have started drinking it since yesterday but I am drinking 4-5 cups a day. I bought Oolong tea from Amazon.com and in a very good price. To see great results you should drink it after every meal (I read it somewhere).

      Green tea has a lot of antioxidants in it, which fight free radicals in the body. It is very good for you.
