How long should I brew green tea?

And do I leave it in the pot to brew while I drink?
This is loose tea. No bags. :) So is green tea like black tea in that you can overbrew it?

      We use bags. We put in the cup with cold water and bring to boil in microwave (70 seconds on ours).

      i drink alot of it and i usually let it sit for 5 minutes (recommended) to release all the antioxidants.
