First of all have a nice relaxing bath, then a nice cup of camomile tea. (p.s. a sachet of dried lavander under the pillow helps too)

Something warm in the tummy, such as herbal tea or warm milk does soothe a bit.
Try chamomile tea with hot milk, no sugar, turn off the tv, get away from the computer, and either read a book that is boring, or turn off the lights and think about your fantasy vacation, or dream house, imagining all the lovely, relaxing things you can do there.
Happy dreams to you.

Celestial seasonings sleepytime tea (herbal) always does it for me!
I agree with one of the others in that if you take a nice bath, get into your jammies and drink the tea, you are sure to fall asleep!
I've done this many times when my mind was racing a million miles a minute!
I've heard that warm milk works for some but personally, I wouldn't be able to drink warm milk.
Good luck and Nite, Nite **
