Depends on the quality of the tea. What we buy here in the US is not real tea at all, trust me my wife filled me in on it and when I buy “real tea” it hurts my wallet. If your trying to loose weight try to stay away from stimulants to do it. I would be more concerned on your eating. Remove all those not needed carbs from your eating and eat 5-7 small high protien meals per day. Your body will not start to burn fat until it depleats your carbrohydrate intake as this is the bodies main source of energy. This is why people crash so fast when they drink a energy drink. The carbs hit them along with the caffiene but after the body is finished from the caffiene rush the carbs that didn’t burn up convert to glucose and get stored as fat. High protien aids in muscle repair and feeds them as well. IF you cant eat 5-7 small meals a day try drinking a protien shake inplace of a couple meals. You can still eat your basic 3 meals a day but cut them down in size and turn them into high protien meals. Do a light workout with weights 3 times a week to change the shape of your body otherwise when you loose weight you will only have a smaller version of you. Many wemon I have trained over the years are baffeled over this little bit of info. The only way to change the shape of your body is to add muscles to make the shape in the first place. Dont worry though, you will never look like some big old bodybuilder following this. You can even take supplements like creatin which I tell all the wemon I train to do and the results are fantastic. Also, toss out the scale. Never monitor success on the numbers. When you gain muscle, your bodyweight goes up but your pants fall down…….get it ? :) When a woman comes in yelling at me about how she gained 12 pounds in 2 weeks I often just stair at her waistline and wait till they are done cursing me with the fleas from a thousand cammels. I then ask them how come there pants are falling down of why all the sudden are they wearing a belt ect. It’s like seeing a deer in the high beams when they understand what I am pointing out. I had one girl who was 5′6 and 189lbs. After 6 months of working out and eating right she weighed 164lbs but here is the thing, she was at 39% bodyfat when she started with me and now she only had 17% :)
She happened to be one of the most beautifull wemon I ever worked with and she got all these results by eating 7 times a day and doing a moderate weightlifting workout 3 times a week, cardio 3 times a week and one day a week to eat whatever she wanted to include a half a pizza, pint of Ben and Jerry’s, whatever….Hope this helps you on your quest.

Green tea helps to increase the metabolic rate of our bodies
thus causing a greater calorie burn. Green tea has thermogenic
properties and promotes fat oxidation. Green tea is especially
known to be effective in burning a particular harmful fat called
visceral fat, which is linked to diabetes.
