i place on half a cup of honey in a gallon of green tea instead of sugar is this to much?

  Depends, does it taste too sweet? Honey is a great alternative to sugar. Just use as much as you need to make it taste good to you.

  How much sugar does it ask for? You'll generally need less honey than sugar when substituting but I'm not exactly sure how much.

  Also, I've heard that for baking you want to replace only half of the sugar with honey but not sure for tea.
