cottage cheese, 3 hours later, salad with cucumbers and 2-3 oz protein, 3 hours later, 1 protein drink, 2-3 hours later dinner salad with cucumbers 2-3 oz protein and a non starchy veggie. i lost 11 pounds in 8 days, i have even been eating less, no more than 400-450 calories a day (mostely lettuce and turkey roll ups and lots of low sodium chicken broth, and i have gained back 4 pounds, what is going on? i have not excercised since day one, just working at a dental office, which keeps me running. i also drink lots of sugar free green tea,

      The way you are eating, it seems that you are losing water weight and fat. On a healthy diet though of half protein, half carbs, you will gain weight, but that is only muscle really. Your body is made of it, so when you intake a normal amount, your body will hold on to it. But I would say that it is not the number of pounds that you have but how you look.
