you really should go and see your gp as they will be able to give you something for your pms. your gp should be able to give a contraceptive pill called dianette this is good for mood swings but i would also try some evening primrose oil and maybe use some lavender in your home or bath

I know what you mean about this! I handle it two ways:
1. I accept and remember that I am feeling this way because of PMS. It's so easy to forget that and take everything personally!
2. I eat calming foods like tomato soup, oatmeal, strawberries and chamomile tea. I also take Kalms tablets and take Evening Primose Oil every day.
Hope this helps!

I sympathise, I get this too, my boyfriend and friends all know what time of the month it is before I do!!
I have found no real cure, although going on the contraceptive pill is meant to have some effect (there is one called cilest that is marketed). I have found that keeping my diet really healthy helps, lots of fruit and veg and not eating stodgy foods like too much saturated fat and carbs. Also exercising helps to get rid of some of that anger (as well as helping with period pain). Going for a run or to the gym is quite theraputic!
I have also found that going on a sunbed makes me feel really good (although not very healthy for you!)
There is a supplement called Magnesium OK you can buy in the chemist but it is quite expensive, is designed for women to help with the menstrual cycle.
Failing that, just be aware of yourself ( and I know this is easier said than done) if your boyfriend understands why you get mad for no reason that will help. If it is really affecting your life then go to your GP, they should be able to help.

I get the WORST PMS everrrrr. I am already on the pill, but I can’t even sleep because of my mood swings. Right now for example! 3:00AM and I’m up crying over nothing.
It’s ridiculous but my Dr. says there’s nothing that will help me…
