My mother in law is 40 years old, 5′3 and 130+ pounds (she said she’s 130, but all women lie about their weight!). She is taking Green Tea Pills and Alli pills. I am not sure that’s the best idea, to combine diet pills. I read Alli’s side effects and it says if you eat too much fatty foods, you will have uncontrollable bowels, diaharrea, and oil in your poo. Sounds disgusting! She already has bowel problems and had surgery to keep her regular (she hadn’t gone in 6 months and couldn’t walk!). She is hoping to lose weight and I’m shaking my head wondering who told her that it’s a good idea to combine all of these “methods” to slim down.
Is it possible to lose weight without killing yourself first (on this method)?
It must be infuriating to her to see me go from 150 lbs. post-partum to 119 lbs. without a single diet, in just 8 months, just watching my fat consumption. I guess we don’t all have that type of control over our lives!

Okay there is nothing wrong with taking the Green Tea and Alli at the same time. I have been talkin both of them for a loong time, granted I am 24 and she is 40ish?? But no I don;t think that would be a problem at all. Green tea is nothing bad, it is VERY good for you. Even if she takes Green Tea capsules like skittles, it won’t do anythign to harm her. ( Be glad she’s taking those two and not those other stimlant things, (she’s being smart)) Now, with the Alli, it doesnt act on your Central Nervous System, so it wont effect her brain, mood, etc. It is a lipase inhibitor, meaning it does not allow your body to breakdown and digest some of the fat that is took in. If she dont eat more than like 15 fat grams in a meal she will not have any treatment effects. If she does, then the “treatment effects” are…you kinda gotta go a lil more urgently than regular, you will see little orange fat drops in the toilet after going poo, you may have to fart a little more and some of the orange fat might come out in your fart causing a orange spot to be on your underwear. ( I know this is gross, but Ima tell ya how it is) Its not like you can NOT control when you go poo! And I have pushed it to the limit, eating Mc Donalds and Pizza etc while taking it and that’s all it did to me. But if she eats like she’s supposed to, none of that will even happen. SHe does however need to take her vitamin at night, (fat soluble vitamins get shorted when your not taking in as much fat as usual). And I’ll tell ya what, if your mom has had problems being stopped up before, it is probably a GOOD thing to take the Alli, becuase things do come out a LOT easier when its time to go, ahahhaha, but seriously! If you have any questions feel free to email me or IM me anytime.

I saw this product called Acai Berry on Oprah the other week.. Looked like all the other diet scams, but I went for it and ordered a 14-day free trial from this site.. And guess what, it really works!! I’m so happy I’ve already lost weight, gotten more energy and my stomach is flatter than ever!

I agree with jamie D
I take both and never had a problem
alli can have bad side effects IF you eat a high fat meal
if you are worried about her tho…suggest she talk to her doctor and let the doctor know what she is taking.
she could be doing much much worse tho
