I'm picking dandelion greens and roots to make tea. I want to know if anyone knows the best way to dry them?

How do you go about drying dandelion greens and roots to make a roasted dandelion root tea? I am picking my own and have them just drying down in my basement. i read somewhere to leave them in a dark place for 2 wks. try to let the air circulate around the leaves.

If you don't want to wait that long try these easy steps:
(note: I do this all the time)

      1. place between sheets of wax paper, leave space between them

      2. now that you have them in the wax paper place them inside tin foil.

      3. place in your preheated oven (200 degree or 250 in high altitudes) for 4 hours.

      Remove, and there you go.
