I have completely cut out caffeine during this pregnancy but recently I have been having 1-2 cups of decaffeinated black tea a day. I am really enjoying it.
Is this bad for my baby? I am 26 weeks and 5 days pregnant.
Beccame - it is decaf!

Decaf is fine (so says my OB). I've had a cup or two a day with my last few pregnancies (beginning to end) and the babies have been healthy as horses!
Good luck!

As long as it's not herbal it is ok. I drink decaf green tea daily. But my OB said as long as it's decaf and not herbal then it is ok. Herbal foods/drinks can cause premature labor. But black tea is ok.

Only because caffeine curbs your appetite and robs bones of calcium. It is a stimulant. One or two probably isn't good. Try an alternative tea until delivery or just have one cup a day or every few days.
