I am 7 weeks pregnant. As soon as I found out, I quit drinking coffee(it was making me nauseous anyways) and regular Lipton tea. I just HAVE to have my tea in the morning, so I found this decaf Lipton tea. But, I heard that some tea (especially herbal) can contract the uterus. Have you heard of this? Does anyone know about regular tea? Is it safe?I'm drinking some right now!! I

Yes it is safe drink away, who did you hear that from? Women drink alcohol and still have babies.
I'm a Nurse and have never heard that before.

honestly, there is more caffeine in tea than there is in coffee. If you think the caffeine is what is bothering you don't drink it. Your body is going through a huge change and things you liked or did before may bother you until the pregnancy is over. Or so my wife stated.
