is green tea suppose to be brownish???

i use bigelow’s green teabags. When i brew it, my drink is brown. i always thought it was normal but when i google green tea pictures i see that most of it is a light green. am i doing something wrong??? is this normal?? does that mean that bigelow’s green tea is no good??

      yes. It still brews brown. Green is just the state of the leaf when it is picked.

      no some green tea is light green some is brown you might have made it too strong though taste it and see if it is strong then use less tea bags when you make it again. you should prob just use 2 for a gallon of tea

      The reason it is called green tea is because the tea leaves are picked before they are completely ripe so they are extra green

      the green tint is usually conveyed through the tint of the cup or surroundings
