Is green tea supposed to taste somewhat bitter/sour?

July 2nd, 2008 · 3 Comments

I made two cups already, each tasting sour and bitter…

Also what benefits can you get from drinking this horrible-tasting drink?
the worst part is the after-taste.

Yes, it is naturally a bit bitter.

Tea is very healthy for you and provides antioxidants.

Add a little sugar or honey to make it taste better.

The hotter the water the more bitter it gets. Try using water that is almost boiled. A tiny bit of sugar or honey will also help. It's VERY good for you.
