Is herbal tea good for you? and when should I drink it?

October 7th, 2008 · 4 Comments

I’ve started drinking a caffiene free herbal tea in the afternoons or night and it seems to just relax me. But does it actually do anything, for diets or digestion or anything? and if so, when should I drink it?

thanks

There are different type of herbal teas, some are for digestion, some are for relaxing, some are to wake you up, and so on. Yes they are good for you. Most organic stuff is good for you.

If the tea is green and not black tea, there won’t be any tannin in it, so it won’t stain your teeth. That’s a plus!

Although drinking green tea is good,I heard there are some side-effects if you drink too much. Green tea is part of True Tea.They come from Camellia sinensis plant. Some are Black Tea,Chai(The Indians drink it) and Oolong tea(Chinese drink it)They’re better than herbal tea.
