Most of the studies on the benefits of green tea show the strongest results from people who consume as much as eight or ten cups of the stuff per day (half a gallon is eight cups). Is it okay to drink this much? I sometimes buy a jug of Turkey Hill green tea and drink that (sweetened, but not all that much sugar). Any input appreciated.

it is fine to drink this much every day, tea is mostly water anyway, and all the ingredients in green tea are good for you. Don't be surprised if your really hyper from all the caffeine and sugar though.

IF the caffeine doesn't bother you, then it's fine.

Green tea is extremely good for you! So yes, half a gallon is fine. Just make sure you are not putting too much sugar in it. That's what will make it unhealthy.

You should make your own, so you can monitor the sugar levels.
As long as you are not sensitive to caffeine it should be okay.
I drink almost a gallon of decaffe unsweet tea per day.
