I have read all of the benefits to drinking teas like Pu-Erh and Green tea, but also read that caffeine blocks insulin. Is this bad for a type II diabetic?

In many diabetics caffeine will raise the blood sugar.

Pu-Erh and green tea has very little caffeine. I am a type 1 and all I drink the pu-erh tea. I drink only one diet coke when I get up. it raises my blood sugar but I compensate that with insulin

There are many studies on the effects of caffeine but the ones that say it is bad for diabetics are very small ones of less than 50 people.
Caffeine does not raise my glucose numbers. It does however lower them quite a bit.
Caffeine will raise blood pressure, but I am not certain if it is the caffeine or the hot drink. Because hot drinks raise blood pressure too.
