I had never tried green tea before but keep hearing it soooo good for you so I got some of the lipton tea bags and made some last night, I tried it and it tasted like normal tea, but I don't like unsweet tea very much so I decided I would just make it be sweet so I added about 2/3 cups of sugar to whats probably about a gallon of tea. I think it made it better but then I wondered if the sugar would undo all the benefits? and is it really a good appetite supressant? (i'm sure the sugar is helpful there, lol!) Thanks!

It's fine , I do it all the time..Benefits are still in there!! P.S I lost about 15 pounds drinking green tea 3 times a day..About 16 ounces each glass.. I would like to also add that you should try a better green tea the name is "alvita" is is available at most health food stores, and is caffeine free!! Good luck!
