Please help, this is my grandmother's dog…The dog is not a year old.. My mamaw is having a panic attack, because she still grieves over the loss of her first poodle, and is scared to death to lose her second… The details are that she is "pretty" sure that sweetpea hasn't ate anything bad or gotten into anything poison her so she is trying to get a hold of an emergency vet, but we live in a small town and more than likely she will not find one.. So help would be greatly appreciated or a some advice from someone who has had this happen or knows someone who has.. Please she pukes the white foam every ten minutes and my grandmother says the diarrhea just wont stop!! PLEASE HELP

Take the dog to your vet immediately. This isn't normal behavior and it doesn't sound like it can be remedied at home. GO to vet!

it could be parvo. was the dog vaccinated? if it is parvo you need to get her to the vet now b/c parvo can be deadly. parvo has a particular smell to it. the poop etc. will prolly not smell normal if its parvo.

There really isn't anything that can be done, other than an emergency vet. You may have to go to another town, but it's the only real way to get help.

Awe, how sad…..
She really needs to see a vet, ASAP. It would really be wise to start searching for one, regardless of how far away it is.
It doesn't sound good, because she is a TEACUP. These have very poor health, and often get sick young. I know, I had a shih tzu who's father was a "teacup" or "imperial" and she started having MAJOR genetic health problems at just a year old too.

sounds like poisoning…maybe she got into some rat poison. You need to take her to a vet. It wouldnt be parvo…unless she starts vomiting/pooping blood or a black tar. A white foam could also indicate that she has something stuck in her stomach….maybe the diarrhea is her being nervous from having something lodged. Feel around in her abdomen and see if she has a lump of something.
If she has any other symptoms s/a restlessness etc…it could be something called canine bloat.
From my understanding this can be fatal and needs to be treated immediately.

It sounds like she might have eaten something poisonous. She needs to get to a vet immediately. In the meantimes, try to get fluids into her, as she is probably becoming dehydrated.

There are SO many things that can cause vomiting and diarrhea, any answer posted here would be a blind guess. An emergency vet is your best option considering how frequent the vomiting is, tiny dogs get dehydrated very easily. Giving water isn't going to help if she can't keep it down. Even if you have to drive a few hours to get there, I would not wait until Monday to be seen.

I am sorry, but this is really, really serious. You need to do everything possible to find an emergency vet A.S.A.P. There is nothing anybody on here can do to help.

Take your pup to the vet. Maybe your pup licked a house cleaning product and made her sick. Dogs are attracted by house cleaning products. Sometimes dogs can become sick if they lick the floors after you clean it. Take your pup to the vet and i'm sure everything will be ok.

Okay, has the pup had all the right vaccines?
If you live in a small town what about the local large animal vet?
If that is a no go, get Imodium and give one half tablet every 4 hours. The vomiting you can use Kaopecta. Don't give alot of food now while vomiting but keep cool water available. Does the pup have a fever. Use baby aspirin if she has a fever, NOT TYELNOL.
Obviously the best answer is to get the pup to the vet or at least talk to a vet or vet tech

he ate some thing that was bad for him, like to much human food, or more than likely he ate some grass. that is what happens to my dog when he eats grass. dogs can get the flu to so that might solve the whole every 10 min. thing. if it is the flu you need a vet for sure insteed of rideing it out.

Parvovirus is a severe gastrointestinal disease. It initially causes weakness, depression, and lethargy. After a few days to weeks, it causes vomiting and lack of appetite. The dogs develop a very high fever. Very severe diarrhea ensues, gray in color, often with blood and tissue. Because of the vomiting and diarrhea, the dogs become very weak and dehydrated. Puppies and dogs less than two years old, may also suffer from heart disease caused by the virus, causing sudden death

This is why people should NEVER buy Teacup Dogs.
Get her to the vet NOW. Can you travel out of town?
This dog needs to see a vet. It could die if you don't take it now.
Just never buy a Teacup dog again.
Good luck.
