its liptop naturally decaffeinated green tea when i dropped it in the boiling water it was green and when i added sugar it turned brown

nope. Some strains of green tea will turn brown even without sugar.

that's kind of odd. I do know for a fact that some green tea is actually not green to begin with. some actually brew kinda brownish. are you sure it was only after you added the sugar? was it green after you brewed it? what kind of tea was it, and what kind of sugar was it. sorry i'm just curious.

Some green tea are expose to turn green some turn brown it depends on wt type
