So I was just wondering everyone's opinion on green tea diets. The woman I work with wants to try one, and I figured why not join her. This one man who used it lost a ton of weight. He used Wisdom of the Ancient Green Tea with Stevia, I think he said that's an all natural sweetener.
Have you heard anything on that or other brands? Can you just drink normal green tea, maybe minus sugar or something? I love green tea, but is there any long term effects or anything from using this. I mean more than a normal 1-2 cup a day.
I understand you also need to adjust your diet/excercise routine, but just wanted a wider range of opinions on this than just one man. So, what are some positives and negatives? Thanks so much for your help. I probably didn't word this question very well. Lol.

I heard about green tea helping you lose weight so when I was ready to lose I started drinking 2-4 20oz cups of green tea a day (absolutely no sugar or sweeteners). I have lost 30 pounds and am thrilled. Drinking green tea isn't the only thing you have to change though. I eat oatmeal for breakfast (instant), a lean cuisine and a yogurt for lunch and a small or healthy dinner (or no dinner at all frequently). I changed the whole way I ate and that helped me lose weight, it wasn't just the green tea though I think it helped.
