Hello today i started a diet(eat smaller portions and healthy food no mickey ds) and running/jogging plan i also pal on drinking 3 glasses green tea (100% natural tea bags i drink it just like that) will i loose like two pounds a week if i keep this up? i jog everyday for 30 mins before eating and get tired to fast, can i just run for 10 mins and walk for 1 hour would it be the same or less or more calories burned?

green tea good !! also try hot foods eg peppers and curry.. they also help speed up the metabolism…with running… powerwalking is good for a fat burning exercise… or post workout where you run for two lamp posts and then walk 4 one ect… the better option would be the one where you can keep going for the longest amount of time…. calories burnt is different to burning fat… you dont want to be burning carbs and protein… so less vigorous exercises are better.
In the first week of dieting… people tend to lose the most weight then.. my mum lost 5.. so i do not see why not…

- You can lose 2 pounds a week but really depends on what you are eating and the intensity of your exercise.
- Green tea has been proven to help you lose weight so that is good…especially if your not adding sugar.
- You should probably down a protein shake or have a snack before running (granola bar) to give you some energy.
- It is better to combine running and walking together. Example - Walk 5 min, Run 5 Min, Walk 5 min, etc. for about 45-60min.
